Clann Na Cara
Clann Na Cara Irish Dance, pronounced 'Clonn Na Karra' is Gaelic for "A Family of Friends." Founded in 2006 by four champion dancers, the school quickly gained a reputation for providing quality instruction in Irish dancing. It has since grown to include 6 locations across Buffalo and Binghamton (in South Buffalo, Orchard Park, Lancaster-Depew, Williamsville, Kenmore-Tonawanda, and Vestal, NY.)
Clann Na Cara has played a major role in events in and around the community including St. Patrick's Day Parades, Irish festivals, TV performances, charity events, concerts, weddings, schools, nursing homes, and the list goes on.
Competitively, dancers have been honored with numerous national and international awards.
CNC's unique "Culture" of instilling self motivation and fun into each student's experience is undeniably what sets them apart.
Lessons for children and adults are offered from September through June with a summer session in July. New students are accepted year round.
